Why Stories of Defiance and Kindness Go Viral: The Psychology of Moral Courage Online

Little Girl Gets Scolded By An Abusive Teacher, Only To Kick Him In The Crotch

This aggressive teacher in Russia will probably think twice before humiliating another kid in his class again. He was rightfully put in his place after one little girl kicked him in the groin for his abusive behavior.

The incident was captured on a cell phone by one of the girl’ s fellow pupils during an English lesson on personal pronouns. The video shows the angelic girl getting hauled in front of the class, where the teacher starts screaming and poking her hard on the head during a lengthy telling-off. Eventually, the little girl snaps and kicks the bullying teacher right in his privates.

As the Pink Floyd song goes, " Hey teacher, leave them kids alone." All in all, it’ s just another kick to the balls.

A Boy Was Asked By An Adult To Slap This Girl, But What He Did Instead Is Inspiring

What happens when you put a boy in front of a girl and ask him to slap her? How will the kid react? Will, he actually do what the adult tells him to do, or will he refuse?

That’ s what Italian video journalist Luca Lavarone wanted to find out as he conducted a social experiment with children on a busy street. Lavarone wanted to highlight the issue of violence by men against women. In the video, several boys aged between six and eleven years old are introduced to a girl and asked by an off-screen interviewer to pay her a compliment, put on a funny face to make her laugh, and caress her. They are then told to slap her.

Watch how the young boys react to this shocking request.

I wonder how it would end if the situation was reversed, with girls being asked to slap boys. I hope it would end the same way.

Other than the famous Mario sketch, I’m not sure there’s a single better talent show performance on record. I guess that means these boys have the victory within reach!

What This Man Is Doing For Disabled Dogs In His Hometown Is Simply Heroic

A man in Serbia is giving disabled dogs in his country the chance to run again with the help of the doggy wheelchairs he makes from scratch. It all started when Dragan Dimitrijevic made a set of wheels for his dog, Mica after she suffered a spinal injury. Using small wheels, some plastic pipes, and old belts, Dragan constructed a wheelchair that allowed his best friend to run around in the park again. This was much to the surprise of other dogs, who came up to investigate the strange apparatus Mica was sporting.

A word about Mica and her wheelchair swiftly spread among dog lovers around Serbia, and the owners of dogs with similar problems started calling Dragan for help. Now three years later, the computer programmer from Belgrade has made just over 80 wheelchairs for disabled dogs and cats.

“I have a soft spot for dogs,” Dragan told the Associated Press. “A wheelchair is not a cure, but it enables them to run, sniff, do all the things other dogs normally do.” At the end of the day, that is all a dog really wants to do. Great job, Mr. Dimitrijevic!

First Responders Decide To Have Some Fun By Making This Upbeat Public Relations Video

You’d think that people who deal with accidents, crime, and death as a part of their job would be rather grim-faced all the time. But, just like the rest of us, they also know the importance of smiling and having fun, which is why the first responders of Rock County, Wisconsin, decided to make this upbeat video.

Police officers, sheriff’s office personnel, firefighters, and dispatchers all volunteered their time to create this feel-good video…we hope you like Bruno Mars’ “Uptown Funk.”

Not only is the video fun, but the message behind it is quite important, too. When asked, Rock County 911 Director Kathy Sukus, who was the brains behind the video, said that “the main idea was the camaraderie because of not a lot of counties’ police, fire, and dispatch work so well together.”

It was also about “all the negative stories you see, especially about law enforcement in the past year. People are tired of seeing the bad news, so I wanted to do something to bring the community together and show Beloit in a positive light, after all the problems they’ve been having,” Sukus said, referring to the spate of shootings that have plagued the city of Beloit over the past year.
