Needing Help to Stay in Power, Modi Loses His Aura of Invincibility

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who was once considered invincible, is now struggling to stay in power.

Modi, who is known for his aggressive and autocratic style of governance, is facing a tough challenge from the opposition parties in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh (UP) where he is trying to win the assembly elections to be held in February 2017.

Modi’s Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is the ruling party in UP, but it is losing ground to the opposition parties. The BJP is facing a stiff challenge from the Samajwadi Party (SP) and the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) in UP.

The BJP is also facing a challenge from the Congress party, which is the main opposition party in India. The Congress party is trying to make a comeback in UP after losing power in the state in 2014.

The BJP is trying to win the UP elections to consolidate its power at the national level. The party is hoping to win a majority of seats in the UP assembly to form the government in the state.

However, the BJP is facing a tough challenge from the opposition parties. The SP and the BSP are trying to form an alliance to defeat the BJP in the UP elections. The Congress party is also trying to make inroads in the state.

The BJP is facing a challenge because of its autocratic style of governance. The party is known for its intolerance towards dissent and its attempts to suppress the voices of the opposition.

The BJP is also facing a challenge because of its economic policies. The party has implemented policies that have hurt the common people, such as the demonetization of high-value currency notes and the implementation of the Goods and Services Tax (GST).

The BJP is also facing a challenge because of its communal politics. The party has been accused of promoting communalism and divisiveness in the country.

The BJP is trying to counter these challenges by projecting Modi as a strong leader who can deliver results. The party is also trying to woo the voters by promising them development and jobs.
