British TV doctor Michael Mosley was found dead in Greece on Monday, according to reports.

The 63-year-old, who was best known for his health and diet programs, was reportedly found dead in his hotel room in the Greek island of Ithaca.

According to the Daily Mail, Mosley was on a family holiday with his wife, Clare, and their two children.

The cause of death is not yet known, but it is believed that he may have suffered a heart attack.

Mosley was a medical doctor and journalist who presented a number of popular health and diet programs on British television, including “The Fast Diet,” “Trust Me, I’m a Doctor,” and “Eat, Fast, and Live Longer.”

He was also the author of several best-selling books on health and nutrition.

Mosley’s death has been met with shock and sadness from his colleagues and fans.

“I am devastated to hear the news about Michael Mosley,” said Dr. Chris van Tulleken, a fellow TV doctor and friend of Mosley. “He was a brilliant doctor, a wonderful colleague, and a great friend. He will be sorely missed.”

Mosley’s wife, Clare, has asked for privacy at this difficult time.

“We are all deeply saddened by the loss of Michael, a loving husband, father, and friend,” she said in a statement. “We ask that our privacy be respected as we grieve for him.”
